Is installation plug-and-play? +
Yes — for all Porsche models from 2010 onwards. Use a flathead screwdriver to lever out the existing door light, unplug the connector, plug in the new Porsche puddle light, and press it back. Takes under three minutes per door. No drilling, no wiring, no coding required. For models before 2010 (Cayenne 9PA, 911 997, Boxster 987, Panamera 970), a special adapter cable is needed — contact us after ordering and we will include it free of charge.
Which logo design should I choose for my Porsche? +
We offer 10 logo designs including the Porsche crest badge, Porsche wordmark, 911 badge, GT3 badge, Taycan badge, Turbo badge, and more. Taycan and Cayenne E3 (2018–2025) owners should select the letter-style Porsche wordmark logo — the wider door plug on these models partially obscures crest-style logos. For all other Porsche models, any design works perfectly.
How do I know if my Porsche has factory puddle lights? +
Open your Porsche door and look at the lower section of the door panel near the bottom edge. If there is a small oval or circular light unit pointing downward toward the ground, your Porsche has factory puddle lights and our replacement lights will plug straight in. On Taycan, the relevant factory option is QQ1. On Macan, it is option 9MB. On Cayenne, it is option QQ1, PP5, or PP6. If your Porsche does not have factory puddle lights, our plug-and-play version cannot be fitted — contact us for advice.
Will these cause warning lights on my Porsche? +
No. Our Porsche puddle lights include intelligent decoding chips that match your car’s original current draw exactly, preventing any PCM or dashboard warning lights across all compatible Porsche models.
